I am originally from Bed Stuy Brooklyn, NY. Currently reside in TX.
Give Three qualities that describe you:
I am extremely ambitious, intelligent, and loyal individual. I take pride in being a critical thinker and a fair an unbiased person. I’m a family man, proud father, trail blazer, trendsetter and dope lyricist.
What is inspiring you right now consistently to work on your endeavors?
What inspires me to consistently work towards achieving my goal is the fact that I know I will be one of the biggest names in Hip Hop. Most of the Artist currently signed today aren’t better than me musically or lyrically. I also know it’s all about timing and I feel the stars are aligning in my favor. I subscribe to the law of attraction; therefore, I know I will manifest my dreams because I have the power to do so.
How have you overcome struggles to be where you are at now?
I lived a hard life, the struggle built character in me and put a chip on my shoulder to always defeat the odds and rise to the occasion.
What piece of advice you want others to take back from the work you display?
To always be authentic, original and true to self, think independently, break barriers and never humble themselves! I don’t subscribe to down playing one’s worth. Others will also find that I’m passionate about my art, I operate outside of the box and aim to always proof the doubters wrong and make my haters sick.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles have you had to overcome to get where you are at?
The biggest obstacle to my career was holding on to a 9 to 5 job, it took up so much of my time yet it paid great and provided security, so it kept me fighting with myself because I felt the desire to let it go and focus specifically on music; nonetheless, that steady check every two weeks to pay my mortgage, car note, utility bills and provide for the fam was holding me captive. Now that I’ve jumped over the hurdle and bet on myself, I can put majority of my time and energy Into what I love “my music” I’ve learned that risk takers are the ones who become most successful, I hold my destiny in my own hands now. Understanding the power of manifestation was life altering it helped me adopt a boss mindset and i vowed to never be a worker again. I WILL BE ICONIC!
Even though Rich Verbz is devoted to perfecting the art of his music to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business as well. “At different stages in my life there was different people who were influential to me; however, the individual who stayed consistently influential throughout every aspect of my life was myself.”
Rich Verbz is now focused on continuing to be a musician so that he can build on his already strong foundation even more than it already is. If you want to be successful, you have to invest in yourself and the people who will help you out. Rich Verbz knows this, and he wants to help people who will help him out in return for their investment in him. With all of us in the audience, he is excited about how excited we are about what he can do for the whole community.
As a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, a lot of big-crowd events, like concerts and festivals, were banned in 2021. This was because of restrictions put in place by both the city and the federal government. As a result, the number of chances for artists to show off their skills has been dramatically cut down.
