UMPG, an abbreviation of Universal Music Publishing Group, got a new director in the form of Dani Sawyerr. In the year 2013, Sawyer joined the company as an AR manager. However, Mike Mc Cormack has to be reported by Sawyer.
Dani Sawyer recommended UMPG to talented lyricists and other artists, and the list includes Noizu and S1mba, and So Beatz. Dani Sawyer recommended them. Apart from the artists mentioned above’ Holly Humberstone signed a deal with UMPG in 2021.
According to Mike, the decision for Dani to make him director of AR is cent percent correct as the hard work pays off, so Dani deserves this position on the grounds of his hard work. His demotivation and passion can be seen because it was not easy to impress Dani. Until and unless he was satisfied with himself, Dani would not recommend it. Furthermore, Mick said that Dani is a real contribution to their creative team.
Now let us get to know what Dani thinks of this promotion. According to him, it is an honor for him and to be a part of this UMPG company is an immense pleasure. Moreover, he also said that UMPG has set high benchmarks for music and that songwriters hold great importance. He is also thankful to Mike for all the encouragement and support. Thus Dani is all set for this new phase of life.
