DbGib has set his sights on accomplishing his dreams and his goals are only expanding. “I just want to make it to a level I can place me and my mom on top from a struggle of me growing up and never have to worry about her working no more with my music and career. I’m trying to strive for all I ever want is success forever and make her proud as hell before she goes. As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
Just traveling by myself spending by myself not counting on no one to do things for me just go and do it take risks that feel uncomfortable to do and to know you can make a great risk or bad risk but atleast I know what to correct when I’m wrong because I’m doing it so it’s not forced at all at anything I do financially it can be stressful if you over think it but I don’t worry too much about nothing to be honest
What do you have coming up right now that you want others to know about?
I do have a planned out music video and song I want to drop by September if not early but late September just trying to get it all together and get my focus back on my outside life 1st again for now but I got my latest music video that dropped on 4th of July I had dropped the song on all platforms “all I know” featuring Playboi nine on YouTube I’m Miami I got several videos I done did so far just 3 music videos I got more otw tho coming fasho giving it time tho
Who were the most influential people in your life?
God, then it’s my mom and four sisters of mines bc they inspire me sm like they all got kids and able to handle up fr they all independent I’m trying to get to that level one day fr and God always gonna be number 1 because I wouldn’t be here to see this day and talk to you right now if it wasn’t for him for real. My brothers inspire me in a way because of their hustle. We also get that from my dad. He never went without a job, always trying to make a way for real.
As a result of the outbreak of COVID-19, some artists had considerable difficulties in 2021; varied laws established at the local and federal levels prevented a large number of events with large crowds, including concerts and festivals, from taking place. DbGib’s concentration remained focused, and is now on continuing to pursue his business and profession in order to build his already strong foundation even further than it is already. “Having a lot of faith believing in my God above watching me giving me guidance and not listening to any down talkers or people who don’t see my vision makes me go harder also because I want to break a generational curse of struggling growing up as to be an young growing adult now”
DbGib gives motivation and has his sights set on the prize. “Nothing is achieved without a good work ethic and commitment. I also want others to feel comfortable not conforming and being their authentic selves who think about life critically and not be a mindless follower. I will tell others to not just put only their music and things out til they get a platform to push it hard even without a team they gonna have to believe in their self and take chances at putting money into their self investments and marketing is the key don’t go broke trying to rush in life take their own time at life everyone got their own time to shine or elevate in life but don’t waste time and always try to network as much as possible don’t let no one change your every decision if you feel good ab it do it be yourself but have fun with it.” With his listeners, he is motivated by the thought of making a difference not just in his neighborhood, but also in the rest of the community.
