This rule has given rise to a gushing crowd entering the UK. A bit of relaxation is also given to the not fully vaccinated passengers. These passengers only need to take the PCR test 48 hours before their trip to the UK. Furthermore this test will repeat the same day of their arrival in the UK or by the end of day 2.
Moreover, they also have to fill in the passenger locator form. Apart from this, getting self-isolated on arrival is not a requirement anymore. They also need to get isolated if their test results come positive. By revising the policies and removing the test requirements, a family can save money. Vaccination status or proof of any previous infection through digital NHS COVID Pass can be shown by children aged 12 to 15. The government has started to ponder over substituting the quarantine policy at hotels. The red list will remain a priority to ensure the safety of the citizens against Covid.
