However, the team got a major setback when Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Ilyas, one of the fantastic players of Karachi Kings, were removed from the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7 because of injuries.
Mohammad Amir could not play in any match of season 7 of the Pakistan Super League, unlike Ilyas. Amir, who received treatment for a collateral sprain last week, has worsened a back injury during rehabilitation and can no longer compete in the rest of the PSL 7, the franchise said in a statement.
It further said that Amir has always been a king, and the team wishes him all the best in his recovery to total health and will soon be returning to his family Meanwhile, Mohammad Ilyas suffered a severe shoulder injury but returned from treatment and could bowl two overs in his last game.
