Roux Music went on to remark that his passion for music will always be a driving force in his life and that the most important person in his life that had a significant effect on his career was really himself. “I could say the most influential people in my life are probably the people that doubt me but that’s just giving them to much credit , I’m definitely the most influential person in my life. Every time things didn’t work out , I met myself at the mirror the next morning with ‘the pep talk’ and ‘the game plan’. I put the work orders in, I initiated all the fixes. I thank God for giving me myself , for making I’m me a dependable person.”
Roux Music, or as others would call him, BIG HIM, views himself as an ambitious artist who has become more of an inspiration and a go-getter to others because of his work ethic and determination. His attitude keeps him motivated with tunnel vision. “I’ve literally struggled so hard just to be able to be myself but transitioning from female to male has strengthened me more than just physically. The advice that people should take from the work I display is the very thing that I’m learning now.”
Roux Music went on and explains that it takes more than just wanting to do something to do it successfully and he had to break some generational curses to get where he is at. He explains and says that you must completely embody the thing you’re trying to do , and it must speak to you , for you , and through you. “I’ve literally struggled so hard just to be able to be myself but transitioning from female to male has strengthened me more than just physically.”
Although Roux Music is totally focused on mastering the art of his music to the peak, his hardships have inspired him to strive for even greater achievement within his business endeavor as well. These gestures have put him in the position to be more successful. He explains that understanding the delicacy of when to do certain things, to promote to ‘shake hands’, and when to expand, and knowing the timing, has truly been everything.
Roux Music has is now focused on continuing to pursue his musical profession in order to build his already strong foundation even further than it is already. Roux Music has his sights set on the prize and realizes that in order to be successful, one must not only invest in oneself, but also in those who will invest in you in exchange for their efforts on his behalf. In the audience, he is giddy with excitement at the thought of making a difference not just in his neighborhood, but also in the rest of the community.
