Looking for a beautiful destination to travel from the UK? But don’t know where to go? Well, if this is your case then here in this news update we are going to decode the amazing travel destination of Austria with its travel requirements from UK. Austria has decided to remove the requirement of PCR tests for tourists coming from the UK. Austria has withdrawn Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands from its record of infected countries. Those travelers who got boosters don’t need to go through tests before entering the country.
Austria’s decision to waive tests before departing for tourists from the UK is also followed by Switzerland. Switzerland is planning to do likewise to benefit skiers and other tourists. The amendment in the rule will save £80 for a family of four, as £20 is the cost for a PCR test for one person.
The United Kingdom would no longer be categorized as an infected country by Austria from Monday, 24 January 2022. Anyone going on vacation should be vaccinated and show evidence of booster shot a minimum of 120 days after their second dosage or evidence of PCR test showing negative results.
Then there is Holiday Ninja Pass for those teenagers with their birth date after 1 September 2006 who have not yet done their vaccination entirely, allowing them to come in the country with PCR tests only so they can go through additional tests after arrival in the country. At the same time, everyone from age 12 or above must be fully vaccinated to use public places.
