A Rock Band with Massive Stadium Sound
They bring a charismatic sound which takes you to a nostalgic journey. The Curious band have played shows and festivals all around the country such as BST Hyde Park and Camp Bestival.. The prestigious music producer, Nick Tauber, who has been around longer than most worked at Decca records and worked with artists like Marillion and thin Lizzy and more.
They are a London-based band and was founded by the front man Dominic Smith (vocals) in early 2014 then met Sam Roberts (drums) before introducing Alexander Dreyer-Nuti (bass). The other members then came across Jay Fricker (guitar).
“My Only” is a song you need to hear with its melodic melodies, extremely catchy and captivating choruses. “My Only” was recorded at Lightship Soup Studio and mastered at Metropolis studio.
“My Only” has a catchy tune that instantly gets your attention. It also has a deep and meaningful story behind the song. It is about “a girl who lives in a society where she feels like she’s consistently being lied to from all angles, except from the person she feels closest to.” This story is cleverly brought to life with rumbling bass tones and excitable synthesiser sounds (harking back to some of the best 80s pop tunes), and paired with heavy, punchy guitars, making for a perfect runaway’s soundtrack.
