The fourth studio album, “Brightside,” was released by the Lumineers on 14 January 2022, produced by Simone Felice and David Baron. This album combines a variety comprising blues, folk, country, world music, and rock. Brightside shall consist of nine tracks, and its lyrics tell the stories and have deep meanings.
Brightside shouts of extraordinary examples learned, and it is unique in every way from previous releases of the Lumineers. The Lumineers are an American folk-rock band in Denver, Colorado. Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano) are the founding individuals of this band.
In 2005, Ramsey, New Jersey, Schultz, and Fraites began writing and performing together and started their career in the music industry. Recently Wesley Schultz answered questions about Brightside, describing many aspects of albums and uncovering the stories behind the song’s lyrics.
He said that he has related this album to an accident that happened suddenly and quickly ten years back while driving smoothly on the road, and years passed to get up from that trauma and from the thoughts of that day. Schultz related the situation with the covid–19 pandemic.
He said that it feels like they have been stuck in a car accident for the last two years, and he found this album a fascinating way to talk about the pandemic. Some parts of the lyrics directly refer to the epidemic giving motivation and hope to people for a better tomorrow.
