The most used specialized mall app among all MZ generation (born in the early 1980s to early 2000s) was surveyed as ‘EMO STYLE’.
The app/retail analysis service WiseApp/Retail/Goods announced on the 18th that they surveyed the ‘specialty mall’ apps most frequently used and used by people in their 20s and 30s called the MZ generation.
In the recent e-commerce (e-commerce) market, category killer-type vertical commerce, so-called “specialty malls” are emerging. Specialty malls provide services to people who show intensive interest in one area, such as fashion or interior design, and are particularly favored by the MZ generation.
As a result of a sample survey of Korean smartphone users (Android + iOS) aged 10 or older in December of last year by WiseApp, the most used specialty mall app among all MZ generation was Avly, which was used by 3.66 million people for a month.
After EMO STYLE, Zigzag was followed by 3.33 million, Brandy 2.67 million, Olive Young 2.6 million, Ideas 2.06 million, Musinsa 1.98 million, and Today’s House 1.65 million.
By generation, among those in their 20s, zigzag 2.29 million, EMO STYLE 2.16 million, Brandy 1.75 million, Olive Young 1.54 million, Musinsa 1.46 million, Ideas 1.24 million, and Today’s House 740,000 were in that order. Among those in their 30s, Avely 1.5 million, Olive Young 1.06 million, Zig Zag 1.03 million, Brandy 920,000, Today’s House 920,000, Ideas 820,000, and Musinsa 520,000 were surveyed in that order.
