We all want to live a more fulfilled life. We want to be happier, healthier and less stressed out. For many people, the answer is yoga! Yoga has been shown in studies to reduce stress levels by lowering cortisol levels in the body. It also has physical benefits for your body, including increased flexibility and strength. There are so many types of yoga that you can do depending on your goal – whether it’s weight loss or just trying to find some peace of mind! We will review one type of yoga called “Yoga Burn.”
“Yoga Burn” is a 12-week yoga program that promises to help you lose weight, get toned, and feel more energetic. The poses are accompanied by a fat-burning workout that you do thrice per week. Each phase lasts three weeks, which is supposed to help you see results gradually.
Yoga Burn is broken into three phases: foundation, transition, and mastery. You will be given different poses to help you achieve your goals in each stage.
Foundation
The foundation phase includes five yoga workouts that focus on flexibility, posture, and muscle toning. The workouts are about 30 minutes long each. They recommend you do these workouts every day of the week, including your rest days.
Transition
For the Transition phase, you will do three yoga workouts that focus on strength building for problem areas like the core or thighs. Each exercise is approximately 40 minutes long, and you should do the five days a week, taking weekends off.
Mastery
The Mastery phase includes three workouts that focus on weight loss and muscle toning. The workouts are approximately 40 minutes long, and you will do those five days a week, including your rest days.
