Following the collapse of a stand during a bullfight in central Colombia, at least 4 individuals have died and much more than 300 have been hurt.
Public participants engaged the bulls in combat during the traditional “Corralejo” ritual.
According to Governor of Tolima Jose Ricardo Orozco, the deceased comprised two women, a guy, and a young child. Four of the 322 patients seen in hospitals, according to the regional health authority, were in critical care.
Following Corralejo’s at El Espinal on Saturday, several people have been injured. One individual passed away earlier this month in the town of Repelon after being impaled by a bull during a Corralejo.
President-elect Gustavo Petro asked city officials to forbid such celebrations, while present President Ivan Duque promised an inquiry.
I beg mayors not to approve any additional activities that result in the demise of people or animals, he stated.
He continued by saying that this accident has occurred before.
