China has tested a missile intercept system

U.S. News says, China has conducted an interception test on land, which “achieved its expected purpose” the defence ministry of China said that it was defensive, not targeted at any particular country.

Beijing has conducted missile interceptor tests in the past; the latest prior publicly announced test took place in February 2021. The test is also told before that, in the year 2018.

As reported by the State media, China is conducting anti-missile system tests since, at the very least.
