Kieve, is a rising star in the Denver music industry who has set his sights on the summit of the mountain. Kieve is from Akron, Ohio by the Canton area. He has one goal in mind: should become more serious and dedicated to his profession. “Right now im working on staying working fighting this major lawsuit against USPS and getting ready to drop my next project.
He’s passionate optomistic and versatile in the way he goes about making music. When away from home, failure is a common occurrence, but Kieve omething meaningful with his music.
After he walks off the stage, his objective is to leave people wanting to see more of him, which he has accomplished in open mic night stands. In Colorado Springs to be exact, he makes a difference in the music industry by putting in the hours of effort, dedication, and inspiration, both publicly and behind the scenes.
Kieve went on to remark that his passion for music will always be a driving force in his life and that important persons in his life had a significant effect on his career. “I draw my current inspiration from my family, my wife and kid, they give me the inspiration to keep going. I wake up and create a verse a hook or a full song every day to improve my skills. I would say ignore the crowd noise a pair of lips will say anything to get you to listen. ‘Fuck what they saying I’m saying this’ Get started now and never stop chasing
Kieve explains his passion is his family. And that he does it all for them. “To be quite honest my wife takes the cake along with my mom and big brother. My wife and the mother of my son has helped me see the error in my ways and her and my mother show me how to be patient and understanding. I can’t forget my grandmother PVM, Peggy Vinetta Mayfield, who passed away in 2012 from lung cancer. Since her passing i have used her memory to stay influenced and inspired. Everything for PVM.”
Kieve views himself as an ambitious artist who has become more of an inspiration and a go-getter to others because of his work ethic and determination. “I overcame alot and current still face daily battles. To overcome majority of all this i have been through i had to be brave enough to talk strangers at times, going to counseling, and reaching out to loved ones helped me feed faith and starve doubt. Since tomorrow isn’t promised its one day at a time._”
He adds that he him being raised in a single parent household with a parent was hard who was struggling from a serious drug addiction. That lead him to a life of poor decisions and rebellious activities. He ended up in a high speed chase with police at 18 years old that included the mayor of Canton at that time. He ended up doing 4 years in prison for that and felony drug possession. “I turned it all around and went to college for arts moved to Colorado and had a kid with my now wife and have been fighting a lawsuit against the United States Postal Service since 2015.” Kieve explains further that only in 2020 did he finally decide to finally release my first EP “Better Late Than Never” thanks to PUA.
4 Although Kieve is totally focused on mastering the art of his job, his hardships have inspired him to strive for even greater achievement. Despite of all the hardships he explains musically he has projects coming up. “Whats coming up is more music more visuals and we about ready to start taking some shows. All in all just stay tapped in. I am dropping again in the next few weeks.”
Because to COVID-19, certain musicians had significant challenges in 2021. Local and federal rules disallowed many large-scale events, such as concerts and festivals. As a consequence of this choice, artists have had less opportunities to showcase their skills. Kieve’s focus is now on pursuing his musical career to strengthen his already solid base.
Kieve has his eyes on the goal and recognizes that success requires not only investing in oneself, but also in others who will invest in him in return for their efforts. This man in the audience is ecstatic at the prospect of changing not just his own area, but also the whole town.
