Chapter 655 Spoilers

  • Orders from both sides: Wei strategist Gohoumei and Qin strategist Mouki direct their forces as the joint offensive against Chu gathers pace.
  • Pressure on Chu: the Hakurei army supports the attack, and the allied forces begin landing heavy blows. Some Chu soldiers ask headquarters for new orders, but they are told to let the Gen-U army handle the situation.
  • A warrior’s duel: Sento’un finally reaches the point where he must fight Rokuomi. As the two prepare to face off, Ranbihaku suddenly enters the scene and launches a lightning-fast attack on Rokuomi, catching everyone off guard.
  • Wei moves in: Wei commander Junju notices that the Ryuuhan army is blocking arrows and decides it is the right moment to slip through, while Wei commander Baki orders his troops to charge on the left flank.
  • Chu under strain: at Chu headquarters, officers watch as the Gen-U army comes under ferocious attack from three armies at once.

Why This Battle Stands Out

Kingdom is famous for battles that feel like strategy games, where every decision by a commander ripples across the field. Chapter 655 shows that clearly, mixing large-scale tactics with personal duels between powerful warriors. Neither side wants to give ground, which makes every exchange count.

Release Date and Where to Read

Chapter 655 was released in early October 2020 in Weekly Young Jump. Kingdom is written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara and is also available as an anime series and live-action films.
