In the 90s and early 2000s, Suzy Perez used to be at the top of her niche. She had a prominent career in the modelling industry and backup dance. She also used to star in music videos of top American musicians like Jennifer Lopez, P. Diddy, and so on. Due to her captivating beauty, she has been the cover girl for millions of magazines throughout the globe.
Suzy Perez settled in the United States from the Dominican Republic and was living a dream American model life and also had a promising future ahead of her. But, Alas! A tragic incident entirely dismantled her fame and even defaulted her glamorous life to a disturbing street life.
HOOKED ONTO DRUGS BY A MODELING AGENCY
Suzy signed a deal with an alleged Italian modelling agency. Adverse to her expectations that the project would prosper her career, it took another turn and became the major mistake of her life. Whilst the contract with the agency, she used to be raped, tortured, molested and drugged on everyday groundwork till her contract. This whole trauma stirred up her physical and mental health issues and made her into a drug addict. That’s when she faded away from the sight of the media.

It was between 2005- 2007 that she was first observed wandering on the streets of NYC. Then it was Univision’s Geneva Solano who discovered her on the streets of Manhattan, where she was found eating from trash cans. She was bearably recognized because of how she looked. And there she talked her heart out to Geneva. Below is Suzy’s life account according to what she spilt out.
LOST CUSTODY OF HER SON
During her modelling days, Suzy was in a relationship, and they had a son together. But after Suzy vanished from sight, her husband took charge of her son. Suzy lost the custody of her dearest son because of being a drug addict.
Her mother’s death also affected her mental health and led her to trauma. Suzy has also been in a public battle with her husband over the custody of her son. However, no positive results came out.
REUNION WITH SON AND BATTLING FOR A HEALTHY LIFE
As soon as Geneva found out about her son, she arranged with her son, Senna Celestino, who lives in North Carolina, and during the reunions, she affirmed that she would make an effort to be back on track to a healthy life again. Senn organized a campaign called Fund Me, through which people started supporting her to be back to life. She also started an Instagram account where she posted her bunches of photos progressing toward the old Suzy.
BACK TO HER STREET LIFE AND DRUG ADDICTION
Unfortunately, after some time, her account was found inactive. Yes! Suzy has still not overcome her addiction.
Later Senna Celestino also declared on his Twitter his mother had been shifted to her old state again. She prefers living on the streets of Manhattan whilst she was offered 6 rehab facilities.
In Senna’s tweet, he said, “I appreciate the support y’all were giving my mom. But she is using the money y’all give her on the streets to buy drugs. She has denied housing and staying at the Psych to continue to do drugs.”
Well…Thats prove that human abuse is really hard to recover from. Just hope that she might get a cure one day for her lifelong trauma.
